Have you ever wondered, right in the middle of a project – Is there anyone out there that just wants to help? You’re not alone. I have wondered that many, many times. It’s more common to get the illusion that someone wants to help, but there’s always a catch.
What would you say if I told you that there really was a place where a Sci-Fi writer could advertise their book – For Free! That’s right.. no strings attached. There aren’t any commercials yet; not until I can figure out how to get them on there that is, which shouldn’t be too long.. lol
So obviously someone like a level headed writer like us would definitely be asking the question – What’s the catch. There has to be one right? Well there is no catch, but there is motivation. Just stare at the image next to this paragraph for a moment and wonder why Big Editorials can treat us like trash. Should it really be like this? The sad truth is that this is our reality.
So it really wasn’t our choice to be independent, right? Well in my case, I didn’t choose it. I had the illusion that what I was writing was good and would get noticed right away, and especially since my book has a complete 3D version for Windows! The new reality was devistating for me, but what the heck. I had to choose from rolling over and taking it, forgetting all my hard work, or make a website and be a true Independent Writer. I chose the second option, like many others.
